Blog Round-up: ACRL RIG

The ACRL Residency Interest Group (RIG) is a community that was established for library residents, residency coordinators, and anyone with an interest in such programs to connect and exchange ideas with one another at a national level. RIG and its completely volunteer-run website serves as a hub for newer librarians from a variety of backgrounds and the administrators supporting them to learn about job opportunities, active programs, and other related readings and resources.  RIG is a collegial network that actively embraces contributions and feedback from its members; for instance, in response to interest, it recently created informal work teams, providing newer librarians experience volunteering on committee-like projects and conference presentations in a supportive environment of peers.
